Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) – Rehab

Key Responsibilities

Deliver therapy interventions in accordance with the supervising PT's plan of care
Document patient progress and response to treatment accurately and in a timely manner
Assist with patient education and development of home exercise programs
Communicate patient status updates to the supervising physical therapist
Adhere to safety, infection control, and compliance standards in accordance with state, federal, and facility guidelines

Required Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
Active state PTA license (or ability to obtain prior to start)
Ability to follow established treatment plans and collaborate effectively within interdisciplinary teams

Preferred Experience / Skills

Prior experience working in a rehabilitation setting
Strong communication and interpersonal skills when working with patients and care teams
